Having been born and raised in the suburbs of New York City, I had a lot of exposure to, well, everything. The blend of culture within the city and its surroundings left an impression on me that morphed me into who I am today. Attending Yankees games with my family planted the seed for my love of sports. I now live and breathe for New York sports and Auburn Football. Also, as a result of the cultural melting pot that is New York City, I was able to experience many different cuisines from an early age which led to my love of cooking.

When I was searching for college choices, I was looking for something different than what I was used to. My brother and my sister both went far away from home to school, and I ended up at Auburn University. Auburn offered warm weather, competitive sports teams and a great education that is relatively affordable. Once at Auburn, I was trying to decide what I should major in. I had always loved writing and I wanted to find something business related that incorporated a lot of writing. This led me to public relations, and I haven't looked back since.

You will find more of my interests below and I invite you to check them out.

"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime."

Personal Interests

Cooking is a new hobby of mine. I only have gotten into it over the past three years or so but I love it. My parents love to cook so I never really had a reason to do so until I left for school. While those first few years were rough, I now find myself branching out and experimenting with new recipes and ingredients. If I had to pick a favorite cuisine, I'd have to go with Italian.
Golf has been a family pastime for quite some time now. My grandfather and my dad both taught me all there is to know about the game, so the connection to the sport is a personal one. Golf is a perfect metaphor for life because no matter how much you know, or you think you now, it keeps you humble and there is always room for improvement.
Growing up, I was fortunate enough to be able to go on many family vacations to places like the United Kingdom, California, Chicago and Florida. Experiencing different locales and lifestyles always fascinated me, and that fascination is what led me to study abroad in college. I have now been to six countries outside of the U.S. and am always looking to go to more. You could say I have caught the travel bug.
Ever since I was young, my parents instilled a love of music in me. I have been rocking out to Bruce Springsteen since I was in diapers and not much has changed. I have recently followed in my dad's footsteps and have built up a collection of vinyl. Who doesn't love those little skips and pops on the record player?
I am always up for a hike or even just for a walk around the block. I love to spend time outside enjoying nature. There isn't much that can beat a sunny day, a comfortable hammock and a long book.
I consider film a passion of mine. Though I am not experienced in creating it myself, I do enjoy indulging in what others create. Some of my favorite film directors include Martin Scorsese, Guy Ritchie and Wes Anderson.
